Delicious and fresh. Cost was very reasonable for the amount of food they give you. Rice was well seasoned and tasty too! It’s across from the katsu laboratory. There wasn’t a long wait on a Saturday for lunch. Service was prompt and attentive.

The seafood and Japanese beef both are with good quality. It is a great restaurant to visit once you visit Kanazawa.

I am so glad that whenever I come here, there is no line and everybody is waiting in the lines at the other places around the market. I was reluctant to give this a five-star because I don't want to have to wait an hour the next time I come visit LOL. But I will. Because I think if you are reading this review, then you deserve to take yourself out to this place for the best bang for the buck in the market for a sashimi bowl. This restaurant opens at 7:00 a.m.! And they close at 10:00pm! It's one of the longest operating hours. And I kind of have to feel bad for the staff because it is such a long business day. It was the only restaurant open at 7:30 a.m. when I visited. There were already people there. So I came here for breakfast... I wound up getting sushi LOL. I figured I would be doing about 30,000 steps today of walking. So I loaded up the belly... This place was so good... That I told them I would be back for dinner! And I even got the same exact bowl LOL. I'm on vacation. Whatever. I can eat what I want. ...and I did. I came back for dinner at 9pm after walking around all day l. It was perfect. What they brought out were works of art. I mean, look at the bowl of the sashimi and how it's laid out on my bowl on top of the rice. This bowl would have cost me $49 in Los Angeles. And here I got it for less than $12.50 at the time I ate here. It was.delicious as it looks. The staff was friendly. If they don't speak English, they'll help you through your Google translate. When I came back, there was a girl working at night who was fluent and was able to help clarify some things on the menu. The tea, they will leave an entire thermos canister for free, where you can refill your own hot tea to your heart's desire. I love this place. And when I come back to Kanazawa, I'm taking my friends. The bowl, A5 beef nigir piecesi, and 2 snow crab rolls & soup cost me about $23 USD.

They serve the top twin local delicacies, the Noto Wagyu beef and the rosy sea bass, tantamount to truffles and caviar dishes in Europe. The snowflaked beef slices are tender and melting in the mouth. The deboned rosy sea bass slices are succulent and very special.

The sashimi and crab were delicious and fresh. Around 3k per person. We got a bowl and drink each

Special kaisen don, worth every cent on that bowl. It was huge so we decided to share it! Every slice of fish, prawn, scallop and whatever else is on the bowl was fresh The shop inside was also quite cosy and not as packed as some others in the market.
